The mirror is one of the most important parts of the vanity. You use it as you sit there to style your hair, apply makeup, to shave and other important tasks. The type of vanity mirror you have will vary depending on the type of vanity you have. There are so many different types and styles of vanity mirrors as well. There are the larger mirrors that are actually connect to your vanity in some way and there are also models that sit on your vanity top and can vary from small to medium to large.

If you are considering what type of bathroom fixture or mirror to get, you need to look at the big picture. You will likely have this bathroom décor in your home for a very long time so you will want to get both something that looks good and meets your needs but also something that is higher quality and will last for some time, even if that means you must pay more for it.

When choosing your mirror if it does not already come with your vanity set or if you are choosing to purchase a separate or additional one, you need to consider a few different things. You are going to want to consider your needs and what you will be using the mirror for, how often you will use it and other factors such as:

• Do you need lighting?
• Do you need magnification?
• Do you need an adjustable mirror?
• Will you be sharing the mirror?

Take into consideration all of your needs as well as your wants such as in color, style and size. Then take this information and compare it to the types and styles of mirrors that are available. This will help you select the one that is best for your needs.

• Lighted vanity mirrors - incandescent or fluorescent (Proper lighting is everything)

When you have made a decision on the type of mirror that you want, you can also look into style and the appearance of the mirror. Then you can also factor in your costs and budget restraints. Remember that there is a mirror out there for everyone. All you need to do is find yours.
